| Lynne Tickle Mother of the Groom |
My name is Lynne Tickle, and I am the proud mother of the groom! Like Philip, I'm a native Richmonder. I graduated from UVA where I also met my husband, Chris, on a blind date to a sorority party! We were married in the UVA chapel in August 1985 and have been happily married ever since.
I have been in real estate lending since graduating from college in 1984. Currently, I'm at Franklin Federal Savings Bank, but as of January 5, 2015, I will work for TowneBank thanks to a pending merger!
I met Philip on a scorching 4th of July in 1990 when I gave birth to him at Henrico Doctors Hospital. He came into the world as a happy baby and has kept that disposition ever since (well, except for a few of his teenage years!)
When I'm not working, I love to travel, spend time on or at the river, hang out with friends, read, cook, and shop. I also love to get to some UVA football and basketball games each year.
At the reception, I look forward to dancing to "With this Ring" since it was my first dance at my own wedding! I also look forward to dancing to "Over the Rainbow" by IZ and possibly getting crazy with the "Electric Slide" if I can remember it!
I look forward to sharing Philip and Chelsea's special day with them and having her in our family!
