| Emily Kidd Bridesmaid |
Hey! I'm Emily, one of the bridesmaids!
I
am currently a junior at JMU majoring in Health Assessment and Promotion. Being
Chelsea's cousin, I've known her all my life…literally. Both of us being only
children, we spent a lot of time together being babysat by our Nanaw and always
going places like the zoo, Maymont Park and the yearly trip to SouthPark Mall
for Christmas shopping. With no siblings of my own, I consider Chelsea the
closest thing I had to a big sister.
I
met Philip a few years back at one of the family events the Kidd family was
having and I knew if Chelsea brought him to a family event, it was something
serious. After that, we met up a few times after I got to JMU since they were
seniors at the time (and let me tell you, seeing familiar faces at a school of
20,000 kids is very comforting).
I'm
excited to be a part of their big day and celebrate their commitment to each
other. I am probably going to have to say that I'm looking forward to dancing
to the “Cha-Cha Slide” at the wedding (because what is a wedding without it?!).
