My name is Bianca Thai and I am honored to be Chelsea’s
Maid of Honor!
I am a Mechanical engineer graduate of Virginia Tech,
currently working in the suburbs of Chicago. I am a passionate runner and
recently joined an amazing running club family, Fast Track, which has helped me
settle into the area.
Chelsea and I go way back to our kindergarten days, at
Pearson’s Corner, when the least of our worries were how to do the monkey bars
and where to have nap time! Our friendship grew through our elementary years
into the awkward and lost middle school years and throughout high school,
although we were not in any of each other’s classes! When we graduated from
Atlee High School in 2009, we knew we would be going in separate paths. We
would always make time for each other when we were both home on our Starbucks
and Panera dates, where I first heard about Philip!
I think it was 3 years into their relationship before I
finally MET Philip in person, although, I already felt like I knew him. I could
tell there was something really special about Philip and Chelsea’s
relationship. I could not be more excited and happy for them to truly begin
their lives together, forever!
I am most excited to hear and dance to some 90’s music from
our childhood, like Backstreet Boys “I Want it that Way” and Deep Blue
Something “Breakfast at Tiffany’s”. I secretly hope, and kind of jokingly hope,
to see Kraft mac and cheese with hot dogs incorporated somewhere in the wedding
only because that is how I remember my childhood lunches at the Kidd household!
Most importantly, I cannot wait to simply be a part of the special event,
taking in the moments of smiles, laughter and maybe tears from the future Bride
and Groom as their families become one!
